Casa Cooking
Enjoy a fun filled evening learning and/or watching dinner cooked and served by a experienced Mexican Cook using local fresh food. The dinner includes appitizer and Margaritas (you can also learn how to make the best Margarita in Mexico).
Each class will focus on a traditional Mexican entree using the freshest local foods with additional information on ingredients, utensils and techniques. We show you fresh ingredients from start to finish. New recipes added weekly!

In Rincón de Guayabitos
Rincón de Guayabitos is is a well-kept, charming beach town of small tourists shops and restaurants on the beach that alos offers fun activities such as water sports, parasailing, boat cruises and whale/shark watching, jet skiing, horseback riding, fishing tours.
Two streets parallel the beach. Along the business boulevard, Avenida del Sol Nuevo, are patio restaurants and gift shops. Footpaths lead from the main street to the beach at every block.
Beach Vendors Vendors, pushing colorful canopied carts, roam the beach serving pineapple and coconut drinks. Shaded by tarps, families cook fish on outdoor grills, and their children peddle "fish on a stick" - cooked to a crisp.
One of our favorite places to eat and highly recommended is Vista Guayabitos. The food is incredible and the view of the Jaltemba Bay is spectacular.
Places to Explore & Discover
La Peñita
La Peñita, is a neighboring small beach town on Jaltemba Bay with authentic restaurants and a number of tourists shops, clothing and shoe stores. And don't miss Thursday's Open Market Bazaar in the plaza. The market is a must see with everything from fresh fruit, seafood, housewares, to T-Shirts to handcrafted artwork from native Huichol Indians.
Sayulita
Sayulita is a quaint little town about 20 minutes south of Casa de Los Pelicanos. Known as a popular off-the-beaten-path travel destination, Sayulita offers a variety of activities such as horseback riding, kayaking and snorkeling, hiking, jet skiing, jungle canopy tours, and fishing. Amecca for beginner surfers of all ages, Sayulita also attracts tourists with its numerous art galleries and restaurants as well.
Playa Chacala
Chacla is for vacationers who are seeking a retreat from their hectic lives farther north. Chacala offers them a calm bay with gentle surf for swimming. Chacala offers fishing and snorkeling excursions. Chacala is the entry to some of the best surfing in the area and is an ecological convergence zone for hundreds of birds. The town is nestled on the edge of the jungle and surrounded by a lush variety of tropical animal and plant life. The curve of the bay keeps the surf calm on most days, allowing for safe water play and swimming. The only buildings on the beach are a row of palapa-covered restaurants where you can sit in the shade sipping a soda between swims, enjoy the sunset in your bathing suit, or eat a fresh seafood meal.
